Site Indexation module allows retrieving information on pages of your site that have been indexed by major search engines. Possessing such information you will be able to decide which important pages of your site need to be submitted to search engines for indexation. After you launch the module for the first time the program opens Site Indexation Wizard:
- On the first step of the wizard provide all necessary competitor sites addresses if you want to check your competitor sites indexation. To add a competitor, enter the address into the edit line and click
or hit Enter. To remove a competitor site select it with the mouse pointer and click or hit Delete.
- On the second step select the search engines on which your site indexation will be checked.
- On the third step check if the indexation settings you provided are correct. Click Finish for the program to start indexation check.
Important: you can change indexation check depth in Program Settings > Connection Settings.
Once the program finishes analysis the following table will open:
Analysis results
The indexation analysis results are grouped by the analyzed sites. The first column displays the numbers of the pages each search engine has found on your site. The second column displays clickable addresses of the pages found on search engines. The third column displays the anchor texts of the links to pages, found on search engines. Usually it is the title text of the pages. The third column contains links to the cached version of the page, stored on a search engine. The fourth column displays the date of the last page modification if this information is available. The fifth column displays the size of the page in bytes (if available).
Reports
To generate the indexation report select the domain name(s) and search engines on which the report will be generated and click Generate >.
