When creating or working with profiles I get a message saying: «[TCX][MyODBC]...».
The program uses Microsoft ODBC interface to connect to MySQL databases. This error ("[TCX][MyODBC]...") was generated when the program tried to access MySQL databases. This might have been caused due to the specific system settings. To remove the problem do the following:
- Make sure that when installing and running the program you were logged in as the same user, which has the administrator's privileges on this computer.
- Open the folder с:\mysql\data and check if there is top10 folder there. If there is no such folder, reinstall the program.
- If such folder exists make sure that the required database (specified in the message) has been created.
- After running the program delete all the projects you have previously created in the Open window. After that create a new profile.
- If the program persists generating errors please contact NetPromoter support department.
I cannot open previously created profile
After running the program make sure the MySQL service is running. Open Task Manager on the tab Processes and check if the process mysql-nt.exe (for Windows NT/2000/XP) or mysqld.exe (for Windows 98/ME) is running. If it is not active, launch it in the folder с:\mysql\bin.
When launching the program I get Windows error
Most probably, the problem is in the Windows components, working with databases. Please download the following component:
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8
and install it on your computer.
The server counter does not work. The counter image is not displayed on the pages.
The file cnt.php installed on your server must have read/write permissions.
