Page Promoter -Scheduler back | forward Page Promoter - Web site ranking

The program provides you with reports on most functions available in the program. In the Available Reports window select the report to be generated. Select the style for report. In the trial version there is only one style available - classic. More styles are downloaded in the program updates. In the Choose Report Type window check the format(s) for your report. There are the following formats for reports available:

  • Plain Text - report will be generated into TXT file
  • CSV - report will be generated in Comma-separated Values (CSV) format, used in MS Excel
  • XML - report will be generated in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format
  • HTML - report will be generated in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format
  • E-mail - report will be generated in either plain text or Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format and sent via e-mail

You can insert information about your clients and your personal information into the reports. Click Personal and Client Information button and fill out the form.

In the E-mail reports recipients window enter the e-mail addresses, where your reports should be sent.

Click Page Promoter - Generate Report Generate Report.

Reports

Note, that in most reports you may see Site Found, Total Site(s) found. This doesn't mean that your site was not found on the Internet at all, it means that the site was not found in top N search results, where N is the maximum search depth, you set for this particular procedure.

Full report - Comprises all other particular reports. To switch between the reports

Last Submission Report Provides complete information about last submission. It contains the following information:

  • Last Submission Date - date of the last project submission session
  • Total Attempted - total number of search engines you were trying to submit your site to during the last submision session
  • Total Successful - total number of search engines the program managed to register your site at during the last submission session
  • Total Failed - total number of search engines the program failed to register your site at during the last submission session
  • Total Server Errors - total number of server errors which occured during the last submission session
  • Total Skipped - total number of search engines which were skipped during the last submission session

Last Ranking Report Contains complete information about the last ranking results.

General Statistics:

  • Last ranking Date - the date of last ranking attempt
  • Search URL - the URL of the page, whose ranking you tried to check
  • Total Attempted Ranking - total number of ranking attempts
  • Total Site Found - total number of times your site was found in search results
  • Total Site Not Found - total number of times your site was not found in search results
  • Total Server Errors - total number of times the program could not connect to the remote server
  • Average Position - average position of your site in the search results by the given search word or phrase

History Ranking Report Contains complete information about all ranking sessions. You can see the following fields there:

General Statistics:

  • Search URL - the URL of the page that was ranked. The URL is active and you can go to the page by clicking on the link.
  • Total Attempted Ranking - total number of ranking attempts
  • Total Sites Found - the number of times your site was found in the top N search results of all search engines, where N - maximum search depth
  • Total Sites Not Found - the number of times your site was found in top search results
  • Total Server Errors - total number of times the program could not connect to the remote server
  • Average Position - average position of your site in the search results by the given search word or phrase

Detailed Statistics:

  • Engine name - the names of search engines which were used for finding out the site rank
  • Attempted Ranking - The number of attempts to measure ranking by this particular engine
  • Site Found - the number of times your site was found in top search results on this particular engine
  • Server Errors - the number of times the program could not connect to the remote server of the search engine
  • Average Position - average position of your site on the particular search engine

Project Data Report - contains information on the current project

Web Site Information - information about your site, extracted from the Profile tab

  • Project Name - the name, under which the project was saved
  • Web Site Title - either the title of your web site, entered manually on Profile tab, or the title of the site's start page, extracted automatically from the <TITLE> meta-tag
  • Site URL Location - the URL of the site's start page
  • Description - the description of your site, entered manually on the Profile tab, or the description of the site's start page, extracted automatically from the <DESCRIPTION> meta-tag
  • Keywords - the keywords of your site or page
  • Web Site Author - the name of the author of the site
  • Web Site Author`s E-mail - the e-mail address of the author of the site
  • Web Site Junk Email - the e-mail address for junk e-mail (spam), used for submitting your project to FFA sites and networks. It is not recommended to give your actual e-mail address, since it may be used for spamming.

Categories - you have to select category for your web-site to submit it to directories and FFA sites and networks.

  • Main Category - the category you have chosen to submit your site to
  • Yahoo Category - Yahoo category you have chosen to submit your site to
  • Dmoz Category - Dmoz category you have chosen to submit your site to

Statistics - statistical information about the project

  • Last Submission Date - the date of last submission session
  • Count Sites on Last Submission - total number of search engines you were attempting to submit your site to during the last submission session
  • Count Successful Sites on Last Submission - the number of search engines which successfully registered your site during last submission session

Promotional Resources Report - report on the promotional resources, i. e. search engines, directories, FFA sites and networks available in the program. There are four columns in this report:

  • Engine Name - the name of the promotional resource
  • Description - brief description of the promotional resource
  • Home URL - the URL of the home page of the promotional resource
  • Class - the type of the promotional resource as classified in the program
