Using ranking Utility you can check your site's rank by the given keywords as well as compare it to the rank of your competitors. There are four tabs in this module.

URLs

On this tab you should set your site location. In the Your site location edit field click Change and enter the URL of your site or the page you want to check. Select one of the options in the Ranking by combo box. There are three possible options here:

• Domain - if the program finds the domain name of your site in the search results by the given keyword(s), it will display its position (any page of the site)
• full URL address - in the search results the program will look for exactly the same URL address you have entered in the search results (exact page)
• URL - the program will consider the position of the result containing any part of the URL as the highest position of the URL in the search result (any page from the site, containing the given URL)

Define search depth. Search results are usually presented in portions. You can set the program to analyze only limited number of search results. By default the program is set to analyze first 100 results. Select maximum number of search results to be analyzed in the combo-box.

Competitor URL Set competitors. You can set any number of competitors for comparing your ranking by the given keywords. Enter the competitor URL and hit Enter or click Add. To delete a URL select it with the mouse and click Delete. To choose all URLs in the list click Check All. To clear the selection click Uncheck All. In the trial version of the program you cannot set competitors, since the number of URLs for ranking is limited to 1.

Engines and keywords

Choose search engines. Select search engines you would like to use in ranking check by expanding their nods (they are classified by global distribution) and checking their check boxes. Currently there are 79 search engines, using which you can check ranking of your site. In the upper left window you can view the number of search engines in the list. In the upper right window you can see the number of search engines you have selected so far. To select all engines click Check All. To clear selection click Uncheck All. In the trial version of the program you can select only one search engine.

Set keywords. Enter your keywords or keyphrases into the Keyword edit line and hit Enter or click Add. To remove a keyword from the list select it with the mouse pointer and hit Delete on your keyboard or click Delete. You can add keywords from the profile by clicking Add keywords from project settings.

To start ranking session click Check Ranking.

Track Changes

This module allows viewing rank changes in the form of tables and charts.

To view a chart set the start and the end date and select the type of chart:

• Keywords
• URLs
• Engines

Select a SE, select keywords and check the sites that were analyzed. The chart will be generated instantly.

Reports

This tab contains information on all rank check sessions performed on the current project.
