Page analyzer is one of the key modules of the program. Using this module you can analyze your pages It consists of two tabs - Settings Tab and View Reports Tab.
Settings
Using Settings tab you can scrutinize any page of your website, find out its keyword density, compare it to competitor page, get suggestions on how to optimize it to rank higher etc.
You can analyze your pages in two different ways - via HTTP protocole, or locally, if you have your page saved on a local computer or on Local Area Network.
- If you want to analyze a page saved on an HTTP server, select Use web page radio button and enter the URL of the page.
- If you want to analyze a page saved locally, select Use local copy radio button and enter the path to the file or browse to it.
If you want to set competitor pages to compare your page to, check Compare to other pages option and do the following:
- To set the competitor page manually, enter its URL into the Select competitor edit line and hit Enter or click
.
- To set the competitor page with the help of a search engine, select Using search engine radio button, enter the keyword to search competitor by and slide the track bar to set the number of competitors.
There are two tabs using which you can set analysis options.
Analyze by keywords. Here you should enter the keywords or key phrases and search engine by which your pages will be analyzed. In the Keywords edit line type your keywords or keyphrases one by one and hit Enter or click . To delete a word from the list select it with the mouse pointer and click . Check the words you would like to be included into the analysis. From the Relatively to search engine combo box select a search engine, whose algorithm will be used for evaluating your page's relevancy to the given keyword(s).
Keyword density analysis. Using this tab you can set keyword density analysis options which will be applied in the analysis. Select the maximum number of keywords to be counted in the Show top # keywords. Set the minimum number of characters for the words, to be excluded from the analysis in the Ignore words of # characters in length or less.
In the Analyze the following field select elements to be included into the analysis. By default all check boxes are selected.
- Page title - the tag <TITLE> will be analyzed
- Meta tag keywords - the tag <META KEYWORDS> will be analyzed
- Meta tag description - the tag <META DECRIPTION> will be analyzed
- Body text - the visible text of the pages will be analyzed
In the combo box below select the output mode for your reports:
- Do not change case - in your keyword density report the keywords will be output the same way they were found in the text. For example, if the first occurrence of your keyword starts with a capital letter, in the report it will be output without changes.
- Lowercase - all keywords in your keyword density reports will be displayed in the lowercase
- Uppercase - all keywords in your keyword density report will be displayed in the uppercase
Additional settings. You can enter additional keywords and set the program either to exclude them from or include them into keyword density analysis. Click Additional settings button and enter words (not phrases) into the window, hitting Enter after each word. Select one of the radio buttons below:
- Ignore listed words - the entered words will be ignored and excluded from the report
- Include only listed words - only the density of the listed words will be counted
- None - the words will be saved in the list, but will not influence page analysis results
If you click Default button, the settings will be reset to defaults
Word Filters. Allow setting additional options for keyword density analysis
- Count only words that occur more than once - only repeated words will be analyzed
- Analyze multiple word phrases - if there are repetitions of word combinations in the texts of the pages, the program will consider these combinations as key phrases and include them into analysis
- Allow the hyphen (-) character to join the words - multiple words phrases, separated with hyphen will be considered one word
- Allow the underscore (_) character to join the words - multiple words phrases, separated with underscore will be considered one word
- Allow the slash (/) character to join the words - multiple words phrases, separated with slash will be considered one word
- Ignore numeric words - phrases which consist only of numbers will be ignored
- Ignore words with embedded numbers - words containing numbers will be ignored
- Use our default stop list - stop list is a list of words which are normally ignored by search engines (prepositions, auxiliary verbs, etc). You can view our stop words list if you open file stopwords.conf in the program folder with any text editor.

In the Select styles for printing combo-box select the output mode for your report. Currently there are three styles available for reports: default, grayscale and monochrome. You can download more styles for reports performing program Update.
After you have configured all Page Analyzer settings, click Analyze to start analyzing your page(s).

View reports
View reports tab provides you with reports on all page analyses of the current project, presented in the form of tree in chronological order. Reports are saved automatically every time you perform page analysis. The tab consists of two elements: Navigation toolbar and Report window. To view a report, click next to the date nod and select the required report.
On the Navigation Toolbar there are the following buttons:
- < Back - back one step
- Forward > - forward one step
Print - print the report
Print preview - to display the report in Internet Explorer Print Preview window
Save - save the report
Mail - configure your mail settings and send the report via e-mail
In the Report window the following information is available:
- General information - information about the site and the type of report generated
- General information about the resource - information about all elements that potentially may cause optimization problems
- General information about the resource elements - meta information about the resource
- Parameters with additional influence on the ranking - information on additional factors which influence page rank
- Search engine emulation - emulation of search engine entry, displaying the way your page will be output in search results
- Most frequently used words - general information about words and word combinations, which are used most frequently in the page text
- Detailed reports on the used keywords - detailed and statistical information on the usage of keywords in the most critical elements of your pages. Using this part of the report you will be able to discover the main optimization problems with your site and consequently, to solve them.
If several pages were analyzed, for example your competitor pages, information on them will be displayed as well.
